Pension "AMIGO" is open thought the year, and due to its vicinity to Split its suitable for both summer and winter vacation. Split and its country side represent a business, cultural and sports center of Dalmatia as well as transportation center for air travel, trains, roads and ferries. Podstrana is therefore an ideal seaside spot for your peaceful and pleasant stay.
Pension "AMIGO" has 10 rooms available; double-bed, triple-bed, four-bed and 2 suites.
Along with stylish furniture, air-condition in each room, central heating, Satellite TV, phones, ISDN connection, safe-box for your valuables, you have also at your disposal our own restaurant and summer terrace nearby the sea. For guests with their own automobile you have secure parking space available. The parking lot is surrounded with green foliage and terrace with numerous flower sorts and Mediterranean plants.

Podstrana is a municipality center for Staro selo, located at 250 m above the sea level, and three towns: STROŽANAC, GRLJEVAC AND SV. MARTIN which stretch along the sea for 5 km. Within PODSTRANA there is Hotel "Lav" with all the facilities (disco, tennis courts, indoor swimming pool and health services). With many restaurants and taverns and our traditional Dalmatian cuisine (meat, fish, different types of home-grown fruits and vegetables) we can guarantee you a good time.

Reputation of our pension enables you to order all kinds of additional Dalmatian specialties (fish, shells, shrimps, lobster, grill lamb, meat specialties, smoked ham, cheese, and home made wine and brandy). We can organize fish picnics to the island of Brac, rafting on the river Cetina, riding at Ogorje Gornje and many other recreational activities. Pension's location enables daily excursions to Međugorje, Omiš, Dubrovnik, Trogir, Falls of Krka and others according to your wishes.
